ANA Honors Marketers For Multicultural Efforts

Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, Toyota, Anheuser-Busch and the California Department of Health were the big winners in the 2007 Multicultural Excellence Awards bestowed by the Association of National Advertisers at its Multicultural Marketing Conference in Boca Raton, Fla., on Tuesday.

P&G won the African-American category for "Olay Definity." The agency behind the campaign was Burrell Communications.

Pepsi took the Hispanic category for Sierra Mist, created with Dieste, Harmel & Partners.

Toyota Motor Sales won the Campaign With Significant Results for Toyota Yaris. The agency partner was Conill Advertising.

Anheuser-Busch won the General Market category for Bud Light, with agency partner Latin Works.

The California Department of Health took the Asian category for Anti-Smoking. IW Group was the agency partner.
