Google has partnered with NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) to help kids track Santa Claus on his Christmas Eve ride.

Through the NORAD Tracks Santa program, the Colorado-based aerospace warning and control organization has been tracking Santa for more than 50 years. This year, families will be able to track Santa's trip in real time via Google Earth. They can also add a special NORAD Tracks Santa gadget to their iGoogle home page.

Meanwhile, at the NORAD Tracks Santa site (http://www.noradsanta.org/) families will find a new kid-friendly game or activity every day until Dec 24--when they can download the special Santa Tracking file for a 3D experience. The Google Earth tracking begins that day at 1 p.m. PST.
