Madelyn Hammond has rejoined
Variety and has been named CMO of the Variety Entertainment Group. Hammond will be responsible for developing the global brand and marketing strategy for
Daily
Variety, Weekly Variety, and Variety.com, as well as
Video Business, Tradeshow Week, LA 411 and NY 411.
As CMO, Hammond will expand the group's worldwide network of strategic
partnerships with advertisers and brand marketers, and will oversee Variety's corporate communications, publicity and promotion, research, event marketing and sponsorships. In addition, she
will continue to be involved with the production and marketing of AMC Network's "Shoot Out," hosted by Peter Bart and Peter Guber.
