Real estate site Trulia will let Web publishers create co-branded real estate sections powered by the company's search technology for free.
The Trulia Publisher Platform launches with media
companies such as Kiplinger, Village Voice Media and AmericanTowns already on board. More newspaper and media sites are expected to follow.
Trulia provides data on more than 2 million homes for
sale nationwide through tools such as real estate guides, local maps and comparable sales information. Through the co-branding effort, the company aims to boost traffic to its site. Trulia competitor
Zillow.com earlier this year forged a deal with 282 U.S. newspapers to add its home-buying search engine to newspaper real estate sections.
