Google announced that it has upgraded the bulk of its suite of Web applications for iPhone users. Although the initial set of search, e-mail, calendaring and RSS feed tools was just launched in
December, the search giant has since tweaked the interface to make all of the apps faster, better-looking and more personalized.
Users can also port their iGoogle home page to the iPhone,
complete with widgets for weather, stock and news feeds, among others. According to a company statement, Google plans to make the interface available to iPhone users outside of the U.S. in the future,
as well as for other mobile platforms with similar Web-style browser capabilities.
