Motorola Invests In Addressable TV Advertising Firm

Motorola Ventures, the venture capital arm of Schaumburg, Ill.-based electronics manufacturer Motorola, Inc., has made a strategic investment in INVIDI Technologies Corporation, an addressable TV advertising firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Princeton Junction, N.J.-based INVIDI's proprietary technology delivers addressable commercial messages tailored to TV viewers according to demographics like age, gender and location.

According to David Downey, CEO of INVIDI Technologies Corp., the company plans to use the investment to help "continue to build momentum in the marketplace and speed our technology into the field."
