At 43, he is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing program for the NexCen family of brands.
DiMuro most recently served as EVP/GM at Sony BMG
Entertainment, where he managed television, film, commercial-advertising licensing, digital/mobile-content platform development, new product and joint-venture initiatives in addition to
corporate/strategic business development.
He also was the president of the jointly operated Nickelodeon Records with Nickelodeon, as well as the president/founder of Burgundy Records (Aaron
Neville, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Gloria Estefan, etc). In addition to these duties, DiMuro was the chief strategic architect behind the global re-branding of the Elvis Presley recording masters,
resulting in worldwide sales in excess of $250 million.
Prior to his career at Sony BMG, Joe worked at News Corp.'s 20th Century Fox Film in a variety of senior theatrical marketing, sales,
distribution and licensing areas for the film, home entertainment, and interactive business units. In addition, Joe crafted and executed the intricate marriage of branded entertainment content with
film, musical, and television content for blue-chip clients, including Nike, Apple, Visa, Intel, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, P&G, American Express, General Motors, Levi's, Starwood Resorts, Frito-Lay, and
Verizon.
