Cookie Jar Entertainment has tapped GoFish Corporation to be the exclusive provider of in-game ads for 'Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands,' their upcoming online role-playing game (RPG) for tweens.

Currently available via open beta, the game marks the newest component of Los Angeles-based Cookie Jar's multi-platform promotional strategy for Magi-Nation, an animated television series that airs on the CW in the U.S. and CBC in Canada. The series follows 15-year-old average teen Tony Jones on his adventures through the world of Magi-Nation, and the game allows players to participate in the journey. San Francisco-based GoFish will incorporate ads that are appropriate for the tween audience into the RPG.

"After a thorough search for an in-game advertising partner, we chose GoFish because it has proven experience and success in catering to the children's market," said Kenneth Locker, senior vice president of digital media at Cookie Jar Entertainment. "The GoFish Network will help enable us to continue providing the best user experience for our players while generating additional revenue streams from Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands."
