Nickelodeon/MTVN is building on the success of its kids' TV shows and existing Neopets and Nicktropolis presence to expand its virtual world sites. Virtual worlds based on Nick's SpongeBob
SquarePants, as well as new original properties like Monkey World (working title) are in development. They are expected to launch next year.
