Clear Channel Radio Bows iTunes Tagging

  • April 8, 2008
Clear Channel Radio has become the first radio broadcaster to offer an interactive feature that allows people listening to its HD digital broadcasts to "tag" particular songs for later purchase on iTunes. Listeners tag a song by pressing a button on the HD radio set. The information is then transferred to their Apple iPod; they can purchase the song when they next sync their iPod with their home computer. The service will be available from 345 Clear Channel stations currently broadcasting HD digital signals. --Erik Sass
