The Rockport Company has named Alloy Access, the multicultural division of Alloy Media + Marketing, as its agency of record, the company announced last week. Alloy will handle media strategy and
promotional marketing for the "Rockport Established 1971" footwear line, with a focus on reaching urban consumers, through the end of 2008. In this capacity, it will handle development and execution
of the brand's creative messaging and act as a media consultant for ad campaigns. The companies have previously cooperated on grassroots and celebrity-focused media and marketing campaigns.
