Sony BMG Entertainment has joined Universal Music Group as the second major record label to offer music through Nokia's "Comes with Music" service. The initiative lets users buy a year's worth of
unlimited downloads on certain Nokia devices. When the year is up, customers can keep the tracks without renewing their subscriptions.
Nokia is reportedly also in talks to add Warner
Music Group's catalog to Comes with Music as it seeks to enlist all four major labels for the service set to formally launch in the second half of 2008. The music offering is viewed as Nokia's answer
to Apple's dominant iTunes service.
