Students from three graduate advertising classes at the Academy of Art University will come up with campaigns for the online insurance company.
Using different methods, such as
commercials, print advertising, viral marketing and others, students will strategize ways for Esurance to reach target audiences the company has not been able to reach.
The students will then
pitch their campaigns to Esurance executives at their corporate headquarters. Esurance will award the students scholarships for the best copywriter, best account executive and best art director.
One student will be picked for a paid summer internship in Esurance's internal advertising department. The company may even use one or more of the ideas from the students for a national advertising
campaign.
