Bloomingdale's To Focus DTC Biz On Web Site

Sales growth at Bloomingdales.com has far outpaced the Bloomingdale's By Mail catalog in recent years, the company says.

The catalog will be discontinued by early next year.

The restructuring, which will occur incrementally over the next eight months, reduces redundancies, streamlines operations, and creates a more efficient and focused organization to capitalize on the opportunities within the online business.
