McCann Taps Organic's Wilson As Creative Director Of Consumer Engagement

In what may be a first role of its kind, the Birmingham, Mich. Office of McCann Erickson has named Adam Wilson executive creative director of consumer engagement. The Interpublic shop described Wilson's role as "integrating digital thinking as a primary consumer touch point" for its client roster, with a special focus on Saab, Nestlé, and Travel Michigan.

"His core responsibility will be to help our clients' brands build deeper relationships with consumers by creating relevant multi-channel brand experiences, employing whatever mediums best suit the brand and its audience," stated Garry Neel, chief executive officer for McCann Erickson Detroit and Los Angeles and General Motors global account director.

Wilson had been creative director at Omnicom's Organic unit., where he led the Jeep brand.
