Google Upgrades Site Search Enterprise Edition

  • June 3, 2008
Google has released an upgraded version of its Site Search for enterprises, offering Web site owners more customization and better indexing capabilities.

Google Site Search (formerly Custom Search Business Edition) gives site owners the ability to set search parameters like synonyms, bias results by document ages, as well as choose which sections of the site get top priority in terms of relevance. The product also learns from visitor behavior to come up with cues for common misspellings.

The giant offers Site Search for varying annual fees based on the number of pages that need to be indexed.
