  • June 3, 2008
Worldnow, a technology, content and revenue-solutions company for local media, is partnering with JS-Kit to power its fully-integrated suite of interactive, community-enabling services for its network of TV station group clients. The aim of the partnership is to drive increased interactivity, page views and incremental revenue.

This deal offers WorldNow's customers -- including 300 local media properties from ABC, Cox, Gray, Landmark, Lin, Raycom and others, encompassing 19 million unique monthly visitors -- access to JS-Kit's suite of rapid, lightweight and customizable services, including Comments, Ratings, Score, Reviews and Navigator, as well as JS-Kit's newest service, Advisor. JS-Kit gains a technology and business partner in the competitive local news space and consolidates its leadership position among enterprise customers.

"Our web services give voice to all WorldNow customers, allowing for a two-way conversation that was not possible in the past," said Khris Loux, CEO, JS-Kit. "In a web 2.0-enabled world, the community has actually become part of the story." Client sites can deploy and manage these services at their own discretion and tailor them to local needs.
