Television Group has promoted Kevin Brockman to executive vice president, global communications.
Brockman oversees all corporate, news and entertainment communication for the Disney-ABC Television
Group--ABC Television Network, which includes ABC Daytime, ABC News and ABC Entertainment; Disney Channels Worldwide; ABC Family and SOAPnet; Radio Disney; Walt Disney Television Animation; Buena
Vista Productions; ABC Studios; and ABC Corporate Initiatives. He is also in charge of talent relations activities and ABC's 10 owned television stations.
With his promotion, Brockman
adds oversight for Disney-ABC International Television and the Walt Disney Co. publishing unit Hyperion.
Brockman had been senior vice president of communications for Disney-ABC Television
Group since 2005. Previously, he was senior vice president of entertainment communications at ABC. He also held executive positions at UPN, Fox Television Stations, and Radio City Music Hall
Productions.
