Jesse DaCosta offers a thorough review of the Advanced SEO course from the SEMPO Institute--which, in addition to shoring up your knowledge of more in-depth keyword research, link-building and analytics techniques, also allows you to add a certificate of completion to your resume.

The five-module course is online--meaning you can go at your own pace--and even includes a 30-day trial membership to Wordtracker (upon completion of the Advanced Keyword Research module). "What this course does well is provide you with loads of new or reinforcing information that you can use on your own website or on those of your clients," DaCosta says. "There is a lot more how-to information in this course than in the basic one, which is great."

Still, DaCosta did run into some snags, including grammatical errors and ambiguous questions. "I can understand why some questions would be ambiguous, as things are constantly changing and nothing in search marketing is an exact science," DaCosta says. "But there's no excuse for a professional course of this caliber to have typos and grammatical errors."
