Tribune Broadcasting group advertising executive John Hendricks has been promoted to executive vice president of interactive and broadcast sales.
Hendricks had been senior vice
president of advertising sales for Tribune Broadcasting for its TV stations since 2002. He will now oversee national and local sales efforts for Tribune's 23 television stations, as well as the
company's 50 Web sites operated by its broadcasting, publishing and interactive divisions.
In his new position, Hendricks will work closely with Dana Hayes, Jr., senior vice president/sales for
Tribune Interactive, who will now report to him.
Marc Chase, president of Tribune Interactive, said Hendricks has "done a great job for our broadcast group; now we need him to work the same magic
with sales at Tribune's Web sites."
