Duracell is promoting its rechargeable batteries via a Web site called "Museum of the Obvious" (MOTO) at MuseumoftheObvious.com.
The faux-technology museum offers a humorous take,
complete with video displays and plaques. It spotlights inventions like the oven mitt, football helmet, and, of course, sliced bread, as well as the rechargeable battery.
The effort will be
supported by a grassroots pop-up museum visiting New York, L.A., Miami and Houston.
