Will Travis, former president of ad shop Attik, has been named SVP at Dentsu America. The move comes after last year's acquisition of Attik by Dentsu America. The change leaves former Attik partners
James Sommerville, Simon Needham and Ric Peralta with oversight of the youth-focused boutique, which is, among other things, AOR for Toyota's Scion division.
Dentsu says Travis is
charged with expanding the group's relationships with U.S. clients and growing global opportunities within the group. Travis, who helped co-found Attik's U.S. offices, is the latest in a series of
high-profile hires at Dentsu America, including award-winning creative Mike Wilson as Dentsu America Chief Creative Officer and former Digitas ACD Lawrence Orleck as Interactive Creative
