Volvo, Costco Auto In Promotional Partnership

Volvo Cars of North America is in the midst of a promotional partnership with Costco Auto Program, a San Diego-based auto-buying service. Costco Auto Program works on the same model as Costco's CPG business, offering members discounts on bulk items and a range of premium and mass market products.

The Costco Auto Program says it has 2,400 participating dealerships that offer member-only pricing on new and certified pre-owned vehicles.

The current program, which will focus on Volvo's C70 and S80 cars, is a reprise of a similar program with Costco in December to promote Volvo's XC90 SUV.

The deal offers Costco members $500 off Volvo's employee price on top of current and incentives. It also dangles a rebate offer on select Volvo accessories and a $500 Costco Cash card after vehicle purchase.
