Boingo Wireless Adds Airports To Hotspots

  • August 8, 2008
Wi-Fi technology provider Boingo Wireless is preparing to announce the addition of the major airports in our nation's capital--Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Airport--to its global network of airport hotspots accessible to travelers.

The Boingo Wireless contracts with the two Washington-area airports--to be announced formally on Monday, Aug. 11--means that Boingo's Wi-Fi network will now be available to the more than 24 million passengers who travel through Dulles annually, and the more than 18 million annual passengers who fly through Ronald Reagan Airport.

With Boingo Wireless accounts, passengers with Wi-Fi-enabled laptops, mobile phones or PDAs are able to connect to the Internet to check their e-mail, access corporate servers, download documents and surf the Web from anywhere in the airport.--Gavin O'Malley
