Campbell Soup Company has appointed David P. Stangis VP/Corporate Social Responsibility, a new position at the company.

Stangis will oversee Campbell's CSR strategy, including its efforts to promote environmental sustainability. He will be based at Campbell's headquarters in Camden, N.J., and will report to Ellen Oran Kaden, SVP/Law and Government Affairs.

Most recently, Stangis was global director of corporate responsibility at Intel Corporation executive CSR council.--Karl Greenberg
