CNBC Teams Up With LinkedIn

  • September 5, 2008
CNBC has formed a strategic partnership with LinkedIn in which the network and professional social network would share content and collaborate.

CNBC will provide LinkedIn members access to material ranging from articles and blogs to financial data and video programming. At the same time, LinkedIn's community features and networking functionality will be integrated into CNBC.com.

Community-generated content from LinkedIn, such as poll results, will also be broadcast on the CNBC cable channel. The changes are expected to take place in the fourth quarter. LinkedIn recently entered into a similar alliance with The New York Times as it seeks to expand marketing efforts beyond its own site.--Mark Walsh
