As the U.S. prepares to go from analog to digital TV next February, Camp Hill, Penn.-based pharmacy chain Rite Aid is offering set-top converter boxes that change analog to digital. The company will
offer three brands of digital converter boxes, ranging in price from $60 to $70.
The U.S. government is providing up to two $40 coupons per household to offset the cost of the digital
converter boxes, through March. Rite Aid has 5,000 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia with fiscal 2008 annual sales of more than $24.3 billion.--Karl Greenberg
