"Historically, mobile subscribers have been resistant if not downright hostile to advertising on their phones," said Greg Sterling, who leads Local Mobile Search, in a statement. But if consumers are presented with a clear value proposition, they are more receptive to mobile ads, according to Sterling.
The online survey of 789 adult mobile phone users was conducted between July 25, 2008 and Aug. 22, 2008 by Opus and Multiplied Media.--Mark Walsh
