I'm in one of those moods that just annoys the crud out of everyone in the office. Tomorrow is the big start to OMMA Global New York! Persia Tatar, Director of Marketing, has
run by my little messy cube at least 6 times already today. I'm getting set up with a MUCH better laptop than the one I had at OMMA Hollywood so I can edit photos on the fly and hopefully
get things out nice and fast so everyone can see their beautiful Media, Marketing, and Advertising faces.
I'm told by IT guy at large, Ryan Nation, who is here today, that this is a huge
show. "Are you ready for your first big OMMA show?" - Nation.
"Uh, this isn't my first" - me, all "I know it all" indignant "I've been to OMMA Hollywood
"This is a lot
bigger" - Nation, grinning
I know a ton of you who are coming either through Twitter, from other shows, from other non work related activites, and from my Just An Online Minute party
hopping. It's exciting to be a part of something so big, and the knowledge these people are going to spout in keynotes and panels is immeasurable and frankly, not something you can get
just anywhere. For reals.
I'm going to try and blog while taking candids of speakers, guests, and expo hall booth bunnies, twittering, and communicating, and you should definitely
keep an eye on this, The MediaPost Raw blog for the well written trumpeting of our writing staff, they're fantastic.
Keep an eye on the MediaPost
Live! Twitter page as well - you'll get bits and bites in digestable little chunks -- news, commentary, and breaking event notifications. It's a lot, I know - but just think about how
fun it will be to unwind from all of this with the cocktail party and afterparty action.
I'm saying!
