InterClick is the latest behavioral targeting network to join the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). The New York-based network joins juggernauts like AOL's Advertising.com, Revenue Science,
Yahoo's Blue Lithium and Tribal Fusion that have agreed to uphold the trade association's standards for protecting consumer privacy during the ad targeting process.
According to
Michael Katz, interClick's president, being open with consumers about how, when and where they are being targeted is an "integral component" of the behavioral targeting industry. "NAI membership is an
important piece of our overall transparency value proposition," Katz said. "We look forward to becoming an active member of the organization and fully supporting its education and regulatory
