HowStuffWorks Partners With 'Reader's Digest'

  • October 14, 2008
HowStuffWorks.com and The Reader's Digest Association have formed a partnership in which the venerable publisher will provide 50,000 articles to the informational site over the next five years.

Under the agreement, HowStuffWorks will be the exclusive English-language online publisher of articles in covering topics including home and garden, science and nature, lifestyle, and how-to reference content. Until now, the Reader's Digest material has only been available in print.

The companies also expect the online versions of articles will attract new advertisers and new audiences. HowStuffWorks, acquired by Discovery Communications last year, has a monthly audience of 15 million.--Mark Walsh
