Cause And EFX

The soundtrack should maybe have been Das EFX but it was a lot more Fall Out Boy as MTV unleashed its foray into campaign 2008 studies, titled "The Election Effect," at its Times Square HQ one Tuesday. This seems to be shaping up to be the year the "effect." The discussion opened, appropriately enough, with a question about the Bradley Effect posed to Daily Show "Senior Black correspondent" Larry Wilmore (which he summed up as occurring when "white folks say they are going to vote for a brother and then don't"). He was then asked, What lead would be safe enough to gird against this effect? "Twenty percent."
