It's commonly believed that this year the younger vote will turn out in greater numbers than in recent elections and deliver a commensurately greater impact. Many also believe, that this will benefit the Democrats, but living in Indiana - defined this year as a Battleground State for the first time in 44 years - it's clear that things are far from clear cut on this count. With the array of media options available to this demographic more diverse than ever before - after all, these are the much lauded Digital Natives - both campaigns (and especially the Obama campaign) have been pro-actively leveraging online communication channels to reach and motivate their potential supporters.
