Wal-Mart Taps WriterAccessPlus To SEO Site

  • November 10, 2008
WriterAccessPlus, a business unit of IdeaLaunch, has inked a deal with Wal-Mart Stores to write and produce "search-engine friendly" articles, images and promotional copy for Walmart.com.

The agreement announced Friday means creating SEO-driven content--between 50 and 150 articles monthly related to holiday planning, auto care and health.

The plan is to drive traffic from Google, MSN, Yahoo and other search engines to Walmart.com, specifically during the holiday season. Boston, Mass.-based WriterAccessPlus will follow the retailer's editorial plans, uploading images and text directly into Walmart.com's content management system, according to Sean Curley, WriterAccessPlus content consultant.--Laurie Sullivan
