Dave Cook, senior director of marketing at TheFind; Dayna Moon, Product Sales Director at Platform A; Tom Wilde, CEO at
EveryZing; and Roger Barnette, president at Searchlgnite agreed mobile, local search and video will have a place in marketing campaigns.
While no one wanted to make a prediction that mobile
would rock the marketing industry in 2009, all agreed that it will remain a small part of search. Wilde said it could get more attention as the line between the Web and mobile Web continue to blur
with browsing capability of the iPhone. Cook said traffic coming through mobile is quite small, but mobile traffic is virtually non-existent outside Apple's iPhone.
