Microsoft has released a search and browse application for the iPhone that lets mobile users get a closer look at large images and photographs on Apple's touch screen.
Developed by
Microsoft's Live Labs team, Seadragon Mobile "magnifies maps and photos with just a few pinches or taps of your finger" to give users a closer look, according to the Live Labs blog.
Available at
the iTunes app store, Seadragon Mobile is a free application that works with Photosynth, a project between Microsoft's Live Labs and the University of Washington. Making the mobile search and browse
app more Apple-like, the Redmond, Wash. company recently integrated its Silverlight media player into the Seadragon zoom technology to support rich graphics.--Laurie Sullivan
