Userplane founder Michael Jones has officially launched the Tsavo Agency as a division of Tsavo Media based in Santa Monica, Calif.

Funded by American Capital, Tsavo develops new technologies that let publishers make money by delivering personalized content to Internet users. The agency will provide search engine marketing and content monetization services to companies looking for ways to target and increase traffic, boost search marketing return on investments, and maximize the value of Web properties.

By combining content monetization technology with traditional Internet marketing services, Tsavo Agency has created a unique set of services that distinguishes the firm from other service providers in the market, according to Jones. In September 2008, Tsavo Media acquired Better and Done SEO unit, which provides search marketing service to companies, such as Paramount, Dreamworks and Sony.--Laurie Sullivan
