John Loughlin, president and CEO, Primedia Magazine and Internet Group, today announced the implementation of a plan to integrate Primedia Consumer Magazines with Primedia Special Interest (Enthusiast) Publications by forming one company, the Primedia Consumer Magazine & Internet Group. The move is another step toward further integrating and strengthening the operations of Primedia's consumer magazine and Internet businesses.

As a result of the restructuring, Primedia announced the elimination of approximately 50 positions at facilities throughout the country, primarily in overhead positions.
