Video workout

For those of you who read my entries last semester, you know that I'm not always a technologically inclined type of person. I don't play video games or spend much of my free time on the computer. But my roommate brought back her DDR pad after winter break, and I'm addicted.

I'm still on beginner setting, and even then I have to do it on workout mode because otherwise I get boo-ed and fail every song, but it's so much fun that I don't care about that guy's snarky remarks. Needless to say, the holidays brought lots of cookies and little exercise, so I'm stoked to have an awesome, fun, and interactive way to listen to music and work out at the same time.

I don't feel like spending money on one for myself yet, but I would love to get my hands/feet on a Wii Fit to try it out. I'm glad that video game creators are helping us to get off the couch and on our feet. Besides that, I get an ab workout too laughing at all the silly arm flailing that goes on in our living room!

Wii Fit is fun, but not as fun because it's not a game so much. It would be cooler if more than one person could play at once, or you could "play" against people.
