As media companies reposition themselves, Warner Brothers Entertainment is beefing up its video game presence, per the
Financial Times. WB is buying Snowblind Studios, a Seattle-based
developer. The move is decided to counter the drop in DVD sales. Warner Bros has a 20% stake in Eidos, the UK company behind the "Tomb Raider" and "Hitman" franchises. The studio has also brought its
global home entertainment and digital distribution business together under one roof.
