  • JERRY MCGEE has been named executive vice president, AAAA Western Region. He replaces JERRY GIBBONS, who is retiring after nearly 13 years. McGee was most recently president and CEO at J. Walter Thompson Los Angeles. In addition, the AAAA has promoted DONNA G. CAMPBELL to senior vice president, AAAA Media Services. Her responsibilities include overseeing all media advisory services and programming for the annual AAAA Media Conference and Trade Show. Campbell joined the AAAA in 1995; prior to that, she served as vice president, media director of The Alden Group.

  • JIM DAVEY has been named senior vice president, global consumer products marketing and planning for Nickelodeon & Viacom, and TANYA HAIDER has been appointed vice president, Nickelodeon & Viacom International consumer products. Formerly vice president toys and marketing, Nickelodeon, consumer products, Davey's role will change to assume global marketing responsibilities for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products. Haider was formerly vice president, strategy and business development, for Nickelodeon Networks. In her new role, she is charged with growing the Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products businesses and brands internationally and will oversee businesses in Asia, Canada, Europe, and Latin America.

  • EyeWonder has named VANESSA BEATRIZ SOTO as account manager in its New York office. She was previously manager of industry initiatives for the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

  • GINGER CONLON has joined Peppers & Rogers Group as editor-in-chief of 1to1 Media. In her new role, she will oversee the editorial direction of 1to1 Magazine, as well as 1to1 Media's online publications. Prior to joining Peppers & Rogers Group, Conlon was editor-in-chief of CRM magazine and before that she served as managing editor, technology editor, and Web supervisor for Sales and Marketing Management.

  • DAVID RITTENHOUSE has joined mOne worldwide in New York after four years in the agency's London office. He’ll work as group planning director on the IBM account. Rittenhouse replaces SARAH KIM, who's now a media director in Avenue A's New York office.

  • Horizon Media has hired LISA DEUTSCH as an account supervisor in the New York office. Deutsch comes to Horizon from Hearst where she worked as a media services manager in the Hearst Corporate Marketing and Sales Department. Prior to that, she was at Mediaedge:cia for five years.

  • MICHAEL P. CONNORS, a member of VNU’s executive board and chairman of its Media Measurement & Information (MMI) group, is leaving the company. Connors will remain on the executive board until April 1, and will continue as chairman and CEO of the MMI group until June 30. Connors joined VNU in 2001 upon the acquisition of ACNielsen Corporation where he served as vice chairman.

  • Carat Interactive appointed TOBY GABRINER to the role of president. Former president SARAH FAY has transitioned to the full-time role of president of Aegis' interactive ad agency network, Isobar. Gabriner was formerly chief operating officer of Carat Interactive.

  • JAMES TRUMAN, the editorial director of Condé Nast, has resigned from his post. He will be replaced by THOMAS J. WALLACE, editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveller magazine.

  • The New York Yankees have named DEBORAH TYMON senior vice president of marketing and MICHAEL TUSIANI vice president of corporate sales and sponsorships. Tymon joined the Yankees in 1985 as director of group and season ticket sales and has served as vice president of marketing since 2000. Tusiani joined the Yankees in 2000 as director of sponsorship services after spending five years in the corporate marketing department of the National Hockey League.

  • PETER MEDWID has joined PEOPLE magazine as associate publisher/sales. Medwid will manage all advertising sales activities for the magazine. He comes to PEOPLE from Cosmopolitan magazine where he was associate publisher. Also, ELLIE DUQUE, current Los Angeles sales manager for the weekly, was promoted to Western advertising director, with responsibility for all sales efforts in L.A. and San Francisco. Duque came to PEOPLE in 2002 from Fortune Small Business.

  • Mediaedge:cia has named SANDE BOVIS as managing partner, director national broadcast. Bovis will work on the recently won Paramount Pictures account, setting the direction for all national broadcast purchases and negotiation of cross-media platforms. Prior to joining MEC, Bovis was senior vice president, associate director of national broadcast at Universal McCann, where her clients included Sony Pictures, Home Entertainment, Music, and Sony Electronics.

  • Foote Cone & Belding has appointed PAMELA MAPHIS LARRICK as chairman and chief executive officer of FCBi Worldwide, the direct, digital, and customer relations marketing arm of FCB. Larrick was most recently chairman of MRM Partners (McCann's customer relations marketing arm).

  • Nielsen National Research Group has launched Nielsen NRGi and opened a New York office. JOSEPH CRAIG, senior vice president and general manager will lead the expanded services offered by NRG. In addition, PAULINE SEALEY-KITAZATO has been named vice president of research and analysis of NRGi.

  • iVillage Parenting Network has promoted SUZANNE FLEMING to vice president, national sales director. Since 1995, Fleming has held several positions at iVPN, most recently serving as vice president, promotion sales. Prior to that, she spent nine years at Johnson & Johnson in various roles of promotion and brand management.

  • American Student List (ASL), part of the Euro RSCG 4D agency network, has launched an On Line Lead Generation Service. To help with the launch, ASL has hired MICHAEL MAYER as director of new business development for the Lead Generation product.

  • STEVE LEGRICE has been named editor-in-chief of Inside TV, a new weekly publication by TV Guide Publishing Group. Most recently, LeGrice was executive editor for In Touch Weekly.

  • MediaCom restructured its national TV buying group into a team of four managing directors divided by key accounts and categories. The new managing directors of national television at MediaCom are: STACY SULLIVAN; MICHEL KRUMPER; PAM GIBBONS; and TODD GORDON.

  • ANDREA CANNING has been named a correspondent for NewsOne. Since November, 2001 Canning reported and was the weekend anchor for ABC affiliate WCPO in Cincinnati.

  • Dow Jones Integrated Solutions has expanded it sales team with the appointments of MATTHEW ELLSWORTH as sales development director and ANDREA BEECHER as sales director. Ellsworth will lead the sales development effort for DJIS and Beecher will drive the sales endeavors for the company.

  • Response Media Products (RMP) recently added new personnel to account services and accounting units. LYNN SMITH, strategic development director, brings more than 20 years of agency and client-side experience in the technology, retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, and professional service sectors; TRACY GIBSON, interactive new business development director, recently served as vice president, client services for Miller Zell; MAKANYA LOWERY, client services manager, has more than 10 years of experience in marketing and project management, including positions with Delta Airlines as senior interactive account manager and senior analyst; Lastly, MELANIE ALLGOOD was named an account executive.

  • Fletcher Martin Ewing has hired JILL MEISER as senior vice president; ANN ANTONINI and MELISSA PUMPHREY as account supervisors; EMILY GRUMET has been hired as account manager; and NICOLE MINTON was named account coordinator. Additionally, JAMIE LANDERS was hired as a senior broadcast negotiator.

  • Winstar Interactive has hired RICHARD LOWDEN to be its Southwest regional sales manager. Since 2003, Lowden has been an account executive for the business development team of CBS5/UPN Bay Area where he developed non-traditional revenue streams for CBS & UPN Television via entertainment, news, and sports programming promotional tie-ins.

  • About.com has named DAE MELLENCAMP as senior vice president of product management. In her new position, Mellencamp will lead the product development and design teams. Most recently, she was the director of interactive content at Optimum Online at Cablevision Systems Corporation.

  • LAURA MICHALCHYSHYN has been named to the position of executive vice president, programming and marketing for Sundance Channel. She comes to Sundance Channel from Alliance Atlantis Communications, where she was senior vice-president, dramatic programming, responsible for all programming for Alliance Atlantis dramatic channels.

  • BILL CREIGHTON has been named general manager of NewsCom. Most recently, Creighton was vice president of global sales and marketing for UPI, where he was responsible for all commercial activities, sales, and marketing, worldwide.

  • Undertone Networks has named MICHAEL LOMBARDI vice president of sales, East Coast. Most recently, Lombardi served as vice president of sales for Bloomberg.com.

  • IGN Entertainment has named DALE W. STRANG as executive vice president and general manager of its media division. He will oversee advertising sales, marketing, and the production of editorial content for all IGN Entertainment media properties. Strang comes to IGN from Ziff Davis Media, where he served as CEO and senior vice president of the game group.

  • Scripps Networks has named SCOTT DURAND, vice president of operations, and SARAH TRAHERN vice president of programming for Great American Country, which was acquired by the company in Nov. 2004. Additionally, GREG NEAL will oversee creative services at GAC.

  • New Line Cinema has hired ED BOLKUS as vice president, product development and merchandising; and LOURDES AROCHO as director, international licensing and merchandising. Bolkus will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development and creative approvals in categories including apparel, home furnishings, collectibles, and paper goods. Arocho will oversee international product development and licensed promotions.

  • DOUG RAE has been named as director of optimization solutions of iKnowtion.

  • ANTHONY SALERNO has joined Intermark Media as marketing director, a new post. Salerno previously worked at Endai Worldwide, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Club Med Sales Inc., and J. Walter Thompson.

  • NORMAN BLASHKA has joined Trafficmac as chief financial officer.
