Although overshadowed by a new iPhone and Apple Watch, Apple on Wednesday updated its iPad offerings. “It is updating storage SKUs across all iPads to mirror the iPhone 7: with 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB tiers,” 9To5Mac reports. “This means all iPads have an effective price cut with further savings for the 9.7 inch and 12.9 inch iPad Pro.”

Google just launched ‘shop the look’ -- a mobile format designed to appear on broad queries, and bring retail-friendly looks from bloggers to search results. “Looks are sourced from a network of partners, including LIKEtoKNOW.it, Curalate and Yahoo-owned Polyvore,” Search Engine Land reports. “After clicking on a look, users will see product listing ads (with “featured” labels) for the exact or similar products included in the image.”

Apple is reportedly about to unveil wireless earbuds, which will be branded as “AirPods.” Word of the wireless technology was revealed on Tuesday by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. “In a new research note … Kuo said that wireless headphones will play an important role for the headphone-jack-free ‘iPhone 7,’” Apple Insider reports.

Reports of "exploding" batteries have forced Samsung to delay shipments of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. As Reuters reports: "Faults with the new premium flagship device could deal a major blow to the South Korean giant, which was counting on the Galaxy Note 7 to maintain its strong mobile earnings momentum against Apple Inc's new iPhones expected to be unveiled next week."

Asus just unveiled the ZenWatch 3 -- a new Android Wear smartwatch. "It jettisons everything that was underwhelming about the ZenWatch 2: it's round now, seems ergonomically much nicer, and above all should have much better performance," The Verge writes. "That's because it's running the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, which was announced earlier this year."
