Although much of the ad
world is shrinking, Posterscope USA, a big buyer of outdoor space, is expanding. The Aegis Media-owned company, which offers out-of-home research and production services, is opening two new offices in
St. Louis and Seattle.
Todd Hansen, U.S. president, says Posterscope USA has grown at an estimated rate of 15% to 20% each year and hopes to sustain that momentum. The company has
worked for numerous clients, including Coca-Cola, CBS and Marriott. Its current roster includes Outback Steakhouse and adidas.
Nancy Hale will be the managing director of the St. Louis office.
Previously, Hale served as director of out-of-home for MediaVest Worldwide, overseeing the Heineken, Burger King and Continental Airlines accounts. She has also worked at GSD&M, handling its AT&T
business.

In Seattle, PJ Pedroni will act as managing director. Pedroni, who has a strong background in business development, also worked for Clear Channel, where he handled the Washington
Mutual Bank account. In addition, he has owned and operated restaurants in Seattle.
Hansen says Posterscope continues to build its market presence nationwide--"committed to providing both local
and national planning and buying, with research and insight at the core."
Clients seeking experiential marketing can utilize Posterscope's The Brand Experience, the unit that handles marketing,
corporate events and exhibition communications. Its Hyperspace agency manages all digital out-of-home accounts.
In December 2008, Barclay's Capital said it was lowering outdoor growth estimates
for 2009 and 2010 to declines of 6.0% and 4.4%, respectively. Previously, it estimated flat revenue growth in 2009.
Posterscope USA, a home communications specialist, is part of Posterscope
Worldwide, with 38 offices in 20 countries.
