Vespa Leverages Film Placement With Contest

  • March 20, 2009
Piaggio's Vespa brand is leveraging product placement in the Paramount Pictures comedy "I Love You, Man" to promote the brand on MySpace, in a program that ends today, when the film premieres.

Vespa's LXV 150 is featured in the film starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel.

Through today, consumers can opt-in to win the very bike used in the film by entering the "I Love You, Man--How Far Would You Go For Your Bro Comment Contest" on the social-networking site.

In addition, Paramount Pictures created an exclusive poster featuring the Vespa LXV, which can be downloaded at www.VespaUSA.com.--Karl Greenberg
