ZillionTV now has more than three dozen content partner deals, including Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox Television, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.
The deal with Weinstein includes theatrical movies such as "Soul Men," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," "The Reader" and "Zack and Miri Make a Porno." Those films will be available on ZillionTV at the end of 2009, at the time of its launch.
Zillion uses a broadband Internet connection, a set-top box and a motion-sensing remote control. Viewers receive programming through on-demand streaming; they cannot download programs.

For the most part, Zillion TV is free and ad-supported. Viewers can also choose pay-per-program with no advertising. There is only a one-time, initial service activation fee.
Currently, Zillion is testing its service in a number of markets, as well as looking for deals with major Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Zillion also has agreements with some major advertisers, including Visa.
Zillion's pitch to traditional TV advertisers is that it can offer addressable and interactive TV ad benefits, including better access to targeted consumers.
