Unbelievably, the lights went out â€" again! â€" during a keynote presentation by comScore’s Gian Fulgoni at a MediaPost conference. Thankfully, this one didn’t kill his Powerpoint presentation, or impede Fulgoni’s speech, the way it did at the Search Insider Summit earlier this year on Captiva Island in Florida. That time, a large sea bird crashed into a power line, knocking power out on the entire island. This time, the lights simply dimmed for a minute or so.

Fulgoni, nonplussed for only a second, continued on, and made some excellent points.

My guess is that a large sea bird must’ve leaned against the light switch and inadvertently shut the lights down.
