Sprint To Offer Samsung's Reclaim

  • August 6, 2009
Beginning Aug. 16, Sprint will begin offering Samsung's Reclaim phone, which the companies are touting as the first phone available in the U.S. constructed from 80% recyclable materials.

As a way to promote the environmentally friendly phone, Sprint will contribute $2 from every phone purchase (it will retail for $49.99) to The Nature Conservancy's Adopt and Acre program, which supports land conservation across the country.

In addition, Sprint will begin showcasing its environmental policies and products via an in-store display.--Aaron Baar
