T-Mobile Dials Up Mariachi

The San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival, a Latin music event in California, has tapped T-Mobile USA, Inc. as title sponsor. The event, in its 18th year, will be dubbed "The T-Mobile San Jose Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival, Presented by Target."

The festival's artistic director is multiple-Grammy winner Linda Ronstadt. Performers at the festival, whose theme is farm-worker activist Cesar Chavez, include Joan Baez, Carlos Santana, Los Lobos and Little Joe y La Familia..--Karl Greenberg
