Yahoo! Internet Life has promoted Senior Editor RON BEL BRUNO to the newly created position of Departments Editor. In this new position, Bel Bruno expands upon his role as editor of the magazine's "Click!" department.

CFM Direct announces the promotion of ANDREW SURDEN to Senior Project Manager. Surden joined CFM Direct in October 2000 as Project Manager.

Primedia announced that its Consumer Magazine Group has named BOB DAVIDOWITZ group publisher of the American Baby Group. Mr. Davidowitz was formerly Publisher of American Baby Group. In other Primedia news, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer LAWRENCE R. RUTKOWSKI has been named the 2001 Executive of the Year by the New York Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

CondeNet announces the addition of new team members and positions to the CondeNet Ad Sales Team. SUSAN RERAT, who joined CondeNet in January as managing director of Epicurious.com, is now also the managing director of Concierge.com. In the newly created position of publisher of Epicurious.com and Concierge.com, JENNIFER COLE directs the advertising sales efforts for both sites. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Cole was the CondeNet executive director of advertising. BENJAMIN PASHMAN has also joined the team as national sales manager. Previously, Mr. Pashman was with DoubleClick for two years, most recently as sales manager of the Promotions Group.

MICHAEL ELLIOTT has been named an editor at large for Time magazine. Elliott most recently served as editor in chief of online international news and business information site eCountries.

JOHN GAFFNEY has been named managing partner at Arnold Worldwide. He previously served as director of media.

SETH SKOLNIK has been promoted to senior vice president of business development at Paramount Digital Entertainment. He had previously been serving as vice president of development and e-commerce of the division.

MICHAEL PARSONS has joined Red Herring magazine as international editor and European bureau chief. He had been at The Industry Standard Europe, where he served as editorial director.

ERIC GRUSEKE has been promoted to U.S. publisher of Reader's Digest. He succeeds DOM ROSSI who was named executive publisher of the U.S. Magazine Group for Reader's Digest in March.

DICK ROSS has been upped to senior vice president for operations and production at USA Cable. He had worked as senior vice president of network operations since August 1998.

NEAL SHAPIRO has been named president of NBC News. Shapiro has run NBC's Dateline since 1993. JONATHAN WALD has been named executive producer of "Today" at NBC. His previous position as executive producer of "NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw" has been taken by STEVE CAPUS. Capus had been executive producer of "The News with Brian Williams" on MSNBC.

DONALD KUMMERFELD has been named president of the International Federation of the Periodical Press. He formerly served as president and chief executive officer of the Magazine Publishers of America.

AMY FORD KEOHANE has been named vice president of consumer marketing at InStyle magazine. She has served as consumer marketing director since 1998.

GetRelevant, an online marketing company based in San Francisco, named CHRIS REDLITZ vice president of sales. Redlitz is the former CEO and co-founder of AdAuction, which sold its assets to Mediapassage, a media buying company also based in Seattle.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that the Board of Directors has appointed ROBERT V. CAHILL Vice Chairman of the Corporation. Cahill was previously Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Univision Communications.

DIANE K. BOWERS has been elected President and a voting member of the Board of Directors of CASRO, the Council of American Survey Research Organizations. For the past 23 years, Bowers served as CASRO Executive Director and, in addition, for the past nine years she served in a dual role as founding President of CMOR, the Council for Marketing and Opinion Research.

Intrusion.com, Inc. announced the promotion of RYON PACKER to vice president of marketing and business development. Packer was the executive director of marketing and business development.

DUNCAN KENNEDY has been hired by BURST! Media as a NorthWest Sales Rep. He will be based in the San Francisco office.
