Her position is effective immediately.
Cesa has been with the company for over two decades. At times, he also oversaw efforts at MyNetworkTV, as well as DirecTV's advertising sales, in addition to an array of off-network and first-run syndication TV shows.
Cesa will retire next June, but he will stay on through the transition phase and will handle new business development for the company.
Kenny, who had been head of advertising sales for News Corp.'s MyNetworkTV, will now oversee all advertising sales efforts, including ad sales for New Corp's produced TV syndication shows, network sales at MyNetworkTV and syndication ad sales of programming for Debmar-Mercury and Carsey-Werner.
She will report to Greg Meidel, president of Twentieth Television. Meidel took over for Bob Cook in the position when he left the company in June of this year.
Currently, Twentieth Television syndication list of shows include "Bones," "Family Guy," "South Park", "The Wendy Williams Show," "House of Payne" and "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"
Kenny had been executive vice president of advertising sales for the Spanish-language network Univision. She held other senior-level positions at Univision during her 10 years at the network. She also spent almost nine years at the ABC Television Network, rising to senior account executive of prime time from 1993 to 1998.
